By now you’ve heard, read and seen all the BC Beer Awards coverage since the big announcements were made last Saturday night. But can you name three veteran breweries that pulled down a hat trick of awards each? How about two that just started up this summer that did the same? Or who quietly won five awards, with barely a mention in post-event coverage?

HALL OF FAMER
That same Saturday at BCBA, our very own Lundy Dale was awarded the first-ever LEGEND plaque, for lifetime contributions to BC Craft Beer. Her contributions include founding CAMRA Vancouver, founding BC Craft Beer Month, founding Pink Pints – Barleys Angels Vancouver, B.C., presiding over CAMRA BC, becoming Western Canada’s first female Cicerone Certification Program graduate and working in the industry for many years. Watch as she gets the well-deserved surprise of her life.
SHE WRITES STUFF TOO
Besides what’s mentioned above, Lundy also writes for What’s Brewing. Her latest Women In Beer contribution profiles Christine Moulson, the creative mastermind behind the branding for Strange Fellows Brewing. Check out Christine’s story (preview below).
