On Tuesday night, Moon Under Water in Victoria is hosting a seminar on making beer. The event includes an hour-long talk on the beer-making process, a Q&A, a tour of the brewery, and a beer tasting.
On Wednesday, The Cascade Room in Vancouver is hosting a Slackwater Brewing tap takeover, where they will be pouring six beers from this up-and-coming Penticton brewery.
Next Thursday, Joe Wiebe is hosting a seminar on holiday beers at Vessel Liquor in Victoria. He will be guiding people through eight different examples of the (loose) style, while sharing his insights on them.
Next weekend, Wildeye Brewing in North Vancouver is holding their second Cask Fest Weekender. They will have four special casks on offer throughout the weekend, with each one conceived by a different Wildeye brewer, going head to head to see whose is best.
Next Saturday, The Drake in Victoria is hosting a tap takeover / launch event for Florida’s famous Cigar City Brewing. They will have six beers on tap and will be serving up a special Cubano sandwich from the kitchen.
That same day, Land and Sea Brewing up in Comox is celebrating their 1st anniversary with a birthday bash at the brewery. They have brewed a special beer for the occasion, and will have live music, drink specials, prize giveaways, and birthday cake.
