We’ve got a week of amazing events coming up. The Hop Circuit is always a fantastic community event and I’ll be spending my entire day emptying my wallet at The Drake on Saturday. See you out there!
Tomorrow night, One20 Public House in Delta will be holding its inaugural Craft Cask Clash. They’ve lined up 6 BC breweries to go head-to-head with their own unique casks, and at the end of the night you can vote for your favourites.
On Saturday, The Drake in Victoria is holding their 4th annual Oregon Brewer’s Tap Takeover. This year they will be pouring a massive 40 beers from 7 of the state’s very best breweries, with several brewers and reps in attendance.
Also on Saturday, Maple Meadows Brewing in Maple Ridge will be throwing a fourth anniversary party with a barbecue and fresh craft beer.
On Sunday the 4th annual Hop Circuit hits the Yeast Van brewery district. Enjoy behind the scenes tours of several of your favourite breweries and distilleries and take part in a special scavenger hunt. As an added bonus, Storm Brewing will be holding a loading dock party with full glasses of beer, beer floats, special brainstorm brews, and more.
If you aren’t on The Island, the Oregon Brewer’s Tap Takeover is heading to the Alibi Room in Vancouver on Monday night. They will have 30 taps dedicated to Oregon beer and the brewers and reps will also be heading to this event too.
Looking ahead to next week, Vancouver Island Brewing is holding a 35th anniversary party next Thursday. This 1984-themed event at the brewery will include appetizers, brewery tours, beer, and a commemorative glass.
