If you missed out on any of the previous Firestone Walker Brewing events, Beerthirst is holding a tap takeover at St Augustine’s tonight. A Firestone rep will be in attendance and they will be giving away gifts to the first 50 people. I’d definitely recommend trying the imperial stout, the barley wine, and the quad!

Also tonight, Tree Brewing Beer Institute in Kelowna is hosting the 4th annual Brewphoria event, featuring 12 casks from 12 Okanagan breweries, all under one roof.

This Saturday, Port Moody’s Twin Sails brewing is holding a special party to mark their third anniversary. They will be celebrating by tapping 33 beers throughout the day, including 10 new beers, 7 collabs, and a bunch of reserve barrel beers. There will also be food trucks, live music, and a DJ. They are releasing several canned and bottled beers that day too, so expect line-ups!

Speaking of anniversaries, Riot Brewing in Chemainus is celebrating their second one on Saturday. They will have live music, casks, and will be pouring old seasonal favourites and fun collabs.

If you are around the Penticton area, CAMRA South Okanagan is holding their 2018 home brewing competition at Tin Whistle on Saturday. Head down to try the beers and cast your votes for your favourites. The top 3 beers will get bragging rights and prizes. There is no charge to attend and no charge to try the beer.
