November 15

It’s another busy week of craft beer events, with an anniversary, a tasting room grand opening, tap takeovers, and tasting seminars. It’s never a dull day around here!

If you’re in Victoria and want to sample some of the best beers in BC, head to Vessel Liquor tonight, where Joe Wiebe will host a seminar on the 2018 BC Beer Awards winners.

On Friday night, Cornerstone Taphouse in Courtney will be hosting a Fuggles & Warlock tap takeover. They will be pouring all of their classics and brewers will be in attendance.

Did you know Coal Harbour Brewing turned 7 last weekend? There will be two chances to celebrate this weekend: first a tap takeover at 12 Kings pub on Friday night, followed by a party at the brewery on Saturday. While there will be some overlap, there are a few beers unique to each event and there will even be a cask at the brewery, so make sure to hit both!

If you are in the Chilliwack area on Saturday, be sure to check out the grand opening of Old Yale Brewing’s new tasting room. They will have casks, live music, prizes, and more.

On Saturday night, Smiths Pub in Victoria will be hosting a Liquid Arts tap takeover. They will be pouring several beers from Collective Arts, To Øl, The Wild Beer Co., and Founders.

Whistler Cornucopia is holding a couple of beer events over the weekend. On Saturday they host a seminar on this year’s BC Beer Awards Winners, then on Sunday, they will be holding a seminar on craft beer for wine lovers.
