Presented by Persephone Brewing Co. and located at the Gibsons Public Market, this fifth annual fundraiser for the Sunshine Coast Association for Community Living (SCACL) features two days of events showcasing some of BC’s finest craft breweries, cideries and distilleries.
Craft Beer Tasting Festival (Saturday February 16th, 1:00 – 4:00pm OR 5:00 – 8:00pm):
Check out the Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Tasting Festival on Saturday, February 16th. Bringing together eighteen craft breweries, cideries and distilleries in a tasting style event, participants receive a branded glass and circulate with friends through the tasting venue, chat with the brewery staff, enjoy live DJ sets and exchange drink tokens for 4 oz samples of their favourite quaffable bevy. There’s amazing eats available for purchase on site from Emelle’s Bistro. Tickets available for either the afternoon session from 1-4pm or the evening session from 5-8pm.
**PLEASE NOTE: You must be 19+ years of age to attend. Please have government issued ID on hand.**
The Gala, originally scheduled for February 15th, will be presented on another date. The invite will go out as a date is determined.
Saturday After Party:
There will be a shuttle service after the second Saturday session of the festival – fare is by donation. The shuttle will go between the event location and a few local establishments hosting tap takeovers where you can enjoy more good company. Shuttle can also link up to public transit and local hotels.

How to Get Here and Where To Park:
Events will take place at the Gibsons Public Market, 473 Gower Point Road in lower Gibsons. If you’re coming from the lower mainland, it’s a short 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale and the Sunshine Coast public transit system stops right in front of the Market. It is highly recommended to make reservations for the ferry if you are driving over.
There will be no on-site parking for the Saturday afternoon (1-4pm) event — there is street parking one block away on Dougall Road, Winn Road, S. Fletcher Road, and Gower Point Road at Dougall Park. Please be mindful of the neighbours’ driveways and yards.
Where To Stay and What To Do:
There are a few hotels in Gibsons and many B&B’s you can check out on TripAdvisor or Expedia. The Gibsons Garden Hotel is extending a discount to Festival attendees.
