The lovely ladies of Faculty Brewing are jumping in the ring April 13th to help fundraise for the non-for-profit East Side Boxing Club!
We are hosting a fundraiser Thursday, April 4th at Faculty Brewing! There will be booze, beer, and badass boxing babes so you are not going to want to miss out. All are welcome to join. As it will be “Experimental Beer Thursday” at Faculty, we will be whipping up some awesome brews and cocktails, with proceeds going to the cause!
THE CAUSE
Eastside’s mission in the community is to improve lives and build community through Boxing. By having a space that supports members and community involvement, participants in collaborative fundraising campaigns have the unique opportunity to see first-hand how their participation impacts their community. At Eastside this currently includes three social initiatives:
– ESB after-school boxing program for at-risk youth
– Free self-defence series for female-identified, and all
members of LGBTTQQ2S
– Free boxing classes for Front Line workers in the Downtown
Eastside.
