Class #1: “Let’s Get Brewing” – 11:00am to 1:00pm
Learn the basics about professional brewing from Swans’ brewer, Chris Lukie. Students will be taken right into the brewhouse where they will have the opportunity to help brew a batch of beer.
Class #2: Sensory Tasting Workshop – 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Led by Danny Seeton, Vancouver Island Brewing
Prepare your taste buds for a guided tour of some of the most common beer flaws. Vancouver Island Brewing’s Danny Seeton will also introduce basic sensory theory and how various flavours interact in beer. If you want to understand and be able to explain exactly why you dislike some beers, here’s your chance!
