SURREY, BC – Red Racer and Parallel 49 Brewing collaborate once again on their new holiday mixer: The Great White Wonder Adventure Pack.

This collaboration between the pair of popular BC breweries is now firmly rooted in winter tradition. For the fourth annual release of this winter variety pack, Central City Brewers + Distillers and Parallel 49 Brewing each brought 12 beers that include new, creative craft beers, brewed specially for the pack.

The Great White Wonder Adventure Pack will hit liquor stores in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba in late October. Offering numerous styles from strong beers to lagers and everything in between, there is something for everyone in this highly-sought-after mixer pack. Like a traditional advent calendar, each date in the Great White Wonder Adventure Pack reveals a new beer that is kept secret until the day it is opened. The pack is also an excellent way to try new beers, or to bring to your next winter party and be the talk of the season, long after the holidays are over!

“This year we worked with our friends at Parallel 49 to go above and beyond,” says Gary Lohin, Brewmaster at Central City Brewers + Distillers. “Within our team, we were eager to introduce brand new recipes as well as bring back some old favourites. When working with Graham and his group at Parallel 49 we got even more excited for the mixer pack once we learned what they would be putting together.  Expect be surprised each day when you crack open the box!”

“This is something we look forward to every year,” says Graham With, Brewmaster at Parallel 49 Brewing Company. “We love working with Gary and the group at Central City.  And this year we created some amazing new beers for the pack along with some rarities from the past.”

With a dozen beers each from both Red Racer and Parallel 49 in each pack, craft beer fans will not be disappointed in this winter mixer. What’s in the pack will remain a secret until you pop the box-top, but some notable styles this year include IPAs and Belgian Ales alongside Wheat Ales, Sours and much more.

In addition to several tap takeovers around Vancouver, Central City Brewers + Distillers will be co-hosting a launch party for the Great White Wonder Adventure Pack at their Beatty Street Brewpub on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 at 4:00pm. Parallel 49 Brewing will also host a launch event at their Street Kitchen location on November 15th, 2017 at 4:00pm. There is no entry fee to either one of these public tap takeovers, held on Nov. 2 and Nov. 15, 2017. Join us at both events to celebrate and ring in the Great White Wonder Adventure Pack while sampling all 24 beers!
