Event Preview: Wilderness retreat for craft beer fans only!

Consider it the ultimate early Father’s Day gift. The second annual Craft Beer & Wilderness Retreat, to be held June 8th to 12th in Nootka Sound, is a beer holiday in a class of its own. Although not cheap nor for the faint of heart—the $1699 price tag includes a $300 discount off the full price—its attendees will likely never undertake a more memorable and exotic beer getaway. With brewers from some of BC’s most respected craft breweries on hand, guests will learn and participate in beer tasting, beer appreciation and actual brewing, as well as opportunites for yoga, paddleboarding and other outdoor activities.

Find out what’s in store at this truly unique BC craft beer getaway from expert travel photographer Brian Keith Smith, who was there to witness Year One firsthand. Full story →
