On Monday, the Great Canadian Beer Festival Society announced the passing of the torch from its current Directors (including the two co-founders pictured above) to the Victoria Beer Week Society. After a quarter century, this day had to come, and it means the forseeable future of Canada’s longest-running beer festival is assured. But it’s no doubt a time of mixed feelings and memories for some for whom GCBF has become an annual part of life.
