Beer League BASH this Saturday

Four years ago, Bomber Brewing (pictured above)—the BC brewery whose name and origin story is most closely related to hockey—founded a hockey tournament in support of the Britannia Community Centre ice rink’s after-school hockey programs. A competition was held involving local breweries and beer folks. Since then it’s become an annual tradition and part of the Vancouver brewing scene’s community fabric. Now presented by the BC Craft Brewers Guild, the fifth annual Beer League BASH takes place this Saturday, April 6th from 3-9 PM.

Join the craft beer community for a day of fun and fundraising as five teams clash for bragging rights. If you buy a ticket to come and watch, you’re supporting a great cause, and you can enjoy plenty of craft beer options while you’re at it! Take $1 off your admission for every clean, gently-used hockey item donated to the BASH program (I.E. pair of elbow pads, helmet, socks, sticks, etc).
