The World Beer Championships are a monthly consumer-focused competition and America’s oldest international beer competition, open to all commercially produced beers from around the world. The competition is medal-based, and awards its medals based on the proprietary blind tasting methodology developed by the Beverage Testing Institute (BTI).

To celebrate their wins and to welcome fall, VIB will be throwing parties in Nanaimo, Langford, Vancouver and Victoria next month. The general public is welcome to attend (free of charge), and try some of VIB’s new fall and winter beers, including the new Misthorn Winter IPA and Tidal Series: Harvest Saison.
