The Whistler Village Beer Festival is more than just the Main Event, and this year for our 7th Anniversary we have expanded to 7 days of beer-fuelled fun, September 9 – 15, 2019. We have over 30 peripheral events, ranging from tap takeovers to beer yoga to signature events and more for you to enjoy!  Some not to miss events include:

Axes & Ales | Monday, September 9 | 2 PM – 7 PM | Function Junction

It’s a Function Junction block party! You’ll start with axe throwing at Forged Axe Throwing before heading to Coast Mountain Brewing for a brew then closing out the part at Whistler Brewing Co. for beers, BBQ, and live music. Don’t miss this unreal event to kick off the Whistler Village Beer Festival!

Craft Cultures: Sea, Land, Sky | Tuesday, September 10  | 7 PM – 11 PM | Audain Art Museum 

Join us at the stunning Audain Art Museum for a crafty evening complete with mouth-watering bites and brews, live music and entertainment. The evening will flow through the venue in stages, celebrating the themes of sea, land, and sky, with the décor and food offerings following suit.

Sip & Stretch | Wednesday, September 11 | 6 PM – 7 PM | Westin Resort & Spa

Beer: good. Yoga: good. Beer yoga: Great! Come check out this amazing event and sip on suds during an hour-long beer yoga session taught by a Lululemon ambassador. This event includes a complimentary beer, provided by Gibbons Après Lager, during your practice plus entry for your chance to win prizes, including Lululemon gear and tickets to Whistler Village Beer Festival. Registration and a minimum $2 donation is required. All donations will go towards BC Children’s Hospital.

Cask que C’est | Thursday, September 12 | 7 PM – 12 AM | The Brewhouse

The 6th annual Cask que C’est is back and better than ever. the best WVBF warm-up event, perfectly timed for a three-day bender. This year’s event will celebrate eight breweries picked by High Mountains finest Derrick Franch. We will be showcasing some creative cask beers! Come join beer enthusiasts and pick your favorite cask. The winner walks away with bragging rights and this year’s growler trophy.

Master Crafters: Haze Craze, presented by Grimm’s Fine Foods | Friday, September 13 | 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM | Longhorn Saloon

Master Crafters, presented by Grimm’s Fine Foods, will be returning for #WVBF2019 and this year the future is looking hazy. Choice breweries will bring their best hazy brew to this blind taste test competition, where all the fancy branding will be stripped away. Equipped with only tasting notes, alcohol percentage and IBU, attendees are encouraged to try a sample (or two, or three) of each unidentified hazy beer throughout the evening before casting their vote for their favourite. At the end of the night, we unveil each brew and crown the winner. DJ Stache will be playing the platters at this cannot-miss event.

Craft Beer Breaky | Saturday, September 14  | 9 AM – 12 PM | Stonesedge Kitchen

Saturday, September 14, is day 1 of the Main Event, and nothing will be able to prepare you more than a delicious Craft Beer Breaky at Stonesedge Kitchen, where assorted craft beers and Caesar’s will be featured.

Rare Beer Tap Takeover | Saturday, September 14 | 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM | Hunter Gather

Hunter Gather teams up with Coast Mountain & local breweries to showcase something rare off the tap!

The End | Sunday, September 15 | 8 PM – 12 AM | Pangea Pod Hotel

This time it’s Parallel 49 who’ll be behind the bar serving up the very best of their brews at the ending party to the 2019 Whistler Village Beer Festival. With DJs Badge and Bobs spinning from 8PM to late, this will be a Jerry’s Disco to remember.
