Brewery is ‘an integral part of our region’s rich history with beer,’ Kitchener mayor says
Waterloo Brewing plans to spend $9.6 million to expand its brewery, including adding a larger retail store, taproom and a small batch brewhouse.
The brewhouse is a way to “enhance the craft brewery experience” for people who visit the Kitchener brewery, the company said in a press release on Monday.
The brewery also plans to expand the warehouse and production area to “improve capabilities, capacity and operational efficiency,” the release said.
