WHISTLER VILLAGE BEER FESTIVAL MAKES IT EASIER FOR FESTIVAL-GOERS TO ENJOY THE FESTIVITIES AND TRAVEL TO AND FROM #WVBF2018 SAFELY.

July 24, 2018, WHISTLER, B.C. – The Whistler Village Beer Festival (WVBF) is excited to announce that they have partnered with Whistler
Connection to offer a shuttle service for 2018’s event and allow attendees to catch a safe ride to and from Whistler. The shuttle service will
be available for both days of the Main Event (Sat. Sept. 15 and Sun. Sept. 16) with departures from Downtown Vancouver and Squamish.
The Shuttles are $45 per adult each way and will depart from Vancouver at 9 AM, Squamish at 10 AM, and return from Whistler, departing
at 6 PM on both days. Attendees must book at least 3 days in advance to secure a spot. Other departure times or shuttle service over
multiple days can also be made available upon request.
“We want to provide access to the Whistler Village Beer Festival to people living throughout the Sea to Sky corridor as well as in Vancouver
and let them celebrate the love of beer with us,” says Katrina Frew, Director of Festivals and Events. “A shuttle provides a safe, reliable,
sober, and affordable ride home for attendees who want to come check out the main event.” Shuttle services originally began in 2017 and
were very popular so WVBF organizers wanted to continue to offer this option.
The WVBF Main Event will happen on Saturday September 15th and Sunday September 16th from 12 PM to 5 PM at Whistler Olympic
Plaza. The shuttle service will pick up at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Vancouver at 9 AM, travel to the Squamish Adventure Centre
to collect guests at 10 AM and arrive in Whistler, at the Summit Lodge, for 11 AM. The shuttle will depart from Whistler at 6 PM, arrive
in Squamish at 7 PM for a drop off at the Squamish Adventure Centre, and return to the Hyatt Regency in Vancouver at 8 PM. Anyone
catching the shuttle is strongly encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early to their pick up location.
More information on the shuttle service is available at ridebooker.com.
Out of towners looking for travel options from other areas are encouraged to check out WVBF’s ride share options on Poparide.
