Old Yale Brewing, a craft brewery based in BC’s adventure playground, Chilliwack, continues to blaze new trails using their 20+ years of successful brewing (including Canadian Brewing Awards “Beer of the Year” win for their Sasquatch Stout in 2014). Today, Old Yale Brewing’s Campfire Kitchen is officially up and running, full speed ahead.

Old Yale Brewing is excited to announce the newest project to be completed in the on-going expansion of Old Yale Brewing, the Campfire Kitchen.

At Old Yale Brewing, they believe that gathering around a crackling campfire to share delicious food with great beer and even better friends… it doesn’t get much better than that. They’ve crafted the Old Yale Campfire Kitchen to share memorable moments like that with you; their friends, their family and their community.

“We’ve worked incredibly hard over the past three years to create a one-of-a-kind experience for our customers in our Back Porch Tasting Room in Chilliwack. Though, all along we’ve known that there was one key ingredient missing to go with our hand-crafted beers; Great Food. We’ve been working on refurbishing our vintage Airstream for nearly a year now, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally introduce you to our Campfire Kitchen. This is going to elevate our Tasting Room to exciting new levels, and we are thrilled to share that with all of you; our friends, family and community.” – Zach Van Leeuwen, General Manager.

The vintage Airstream is home to Old Yale Brewing’s very own fully functioning commercial kitchen. Offering hand-crafted, campfire-inspired food like Smokies, S’mores, Beans, Burgers, Fries and more, all created to pair perfectly with Old Yale beer.

“We crafted our Campfire Kitchen menu to celebrate the spirit of our community and the beautiful adventures that Chilliwack has to offer. We wanted our menu to showcase campfire-inspired food, using locally sourced ingredients from suppliers like Vallee Sausage and Kent’s Chicken Coop. We’re very excited to introduce the Campfire Kitchen to our community and see our customers enjoy hand-crafted food to complement our award-winning beers.” – Bobby Lewis, Tasting Room & Hospitality Manager.

This expansion also includes an outdoor picnic-style seating area where guests can enjoy their food and with approval pending; should be completed by the end of the week, any packaged products purchased from the Tasting Room, such as 6-packs, Bombers or Growlers. Both the Campfire Kitchen and Patio area are now open, with the Campfire Kitchen Grand Opening celebration on Friday, September 20 (4pm-10pm).
