North Vancouver Breweries Create Collaboration Beer to Celebrate Upcoming Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week
North Vancouver, BC – Five of the North Shore’s breweries have come together to celebrate the local beer scene with a brand new collaboration brew. The collab brew is being created as part of the Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week celebrations, which will be returning to the North Shore for its second year this October 19-26.
The North Shore Collab Brew has been conceived at Bridge Brewing Co, with fellow brewers from Hearthstone Brewery, Black Kettle Brewing Company, Beere Brewing Co., and Deep Cove Brewers and Distillers to develop the recipe for the Dry Hopped Blonde beer.
The North Shore’s current breweries also got a helping hand with an appearance from some “coming soon” breweries House of Funk (opening 2019) and Streetcar Brewing (opening Fall 2018).
With a 5% ABV and copious amounts of pale, vienna, and flaked malt as well as mosaic, azacca, and enigma hops, this soft and juicy ale is sure to be a stellar representation of the stand-out breweries located on Vancouver’s North Shore.
The North Shore Collab Brew – Dry Hopped Blonde is scheduled to be released in time for the Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week Launch Party, hosted by Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association, taking place at the Pipe Shop on October 19th. It will also be available as 650 ml cans at select private and public liquor stores, and on tap at Bridge Brewing Co.
“We are delighted to once again host Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week for its second year. We have a jam-packed week of events including beer-pairing dinners, live music, and brewery tours”, said Jennifer Belak, Executive Director of Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism Association, “…and it’s all kicking off with our launch party at the Pipe Shop on October 19th where we are inviting everyone to come down and enjoy the collab brew, craft beers, live music, food trucks and more!”
