New at Victoria’s Spinnakers Brewpub is the 2017 Ortega Blonde, a blend of Ortega/Bacchus wine and Pilsen Ale.

Spinnakers’ 2014 beer/wine fusions were among Canada’s first. They state that this one is “a different take on that version, and it’s come out even more delicious”.

The blend is 1 part white wine, 2 parts “Pilsen based ale”.
