Main Street Brewing releases new Hefeweizen beer in collaboration with Vancouver Mural Festival.

Main Street Brewing is back for our third annual collaboration beer with Vancouver Mural Festival. VMFestival creates experiences that connect art and people, striving to build a society that deeply values and prioritizes arts and culture. “Art and beer is a match made in heaven! VMF is super pumped to work with Main Street Brewing to bring some extra artistry to their summer seasonal creations. We’re always excited to find new ways to collaborate in and around our neighbourhood, and this partnership with MSB has been a fantastic experience for all of us,” says Gabe Hall, Co-Founder/ Director of Branding & Design for Van Mural Fest.

The new Citra Hefeweizen is a classic German wheat beer made with Pacific Northwest hopping techniques. The combination of banana flavour from the weizen yeast and the citrus tropical fruit aroma from the generous Citra hop additions make this beer taste almost like fruit punch, with subtle sweetness and mouthfeel from wheat malt rounding it out. A delightful harmony of old and new!

“We’re very excited to be part of Mural Fest again this year. It’s our third year working in collaboration and it’s amazing to see the changes on Main Street and in Vancouver in general. We’ve been so impressed, especially by the collaborative nature of the project itself, and the way it’s engaged the neighbourhood has been amazing. It really has changed the dynamic of the area,” shares Nigel Pike, co-founder of Main Street Brewing.

Vancouver Mural Festival returns August 1-10 with 10 days of events, leading up to the massive and always-popular Mount Pleasant Street Party on Saturday, August 10th, which will feature three beer gardens. The event also includes the debut of 25+ new murals, three music stages, dance battles, live art, 2 markets, food trucks, and much more.

The Mural Fest Citra Hefeweizen is now available in four packs/single cans and on tap at various locations.
