Krampus is coming…

…to Strange Fellows Brewing December 6th-8th. To light up the dark season, we have partnered with OH Studio to bring you 3 days of old world-inspired festivities in celebration of our favourite baddie.

Festivities will kick off Thursday night with Krampus playing nice for his annual photo sitting. Break out your best goth or ugly xmas sweater, bring friends and family for Photos with Krampus and let Him decide if you have been naughty or nice.

The fun will continue on the Friday evening and all-day Saturday with Krampusmarkt, an old-world inspired Strange* Kristmas Market, featuring the odd and exquisite by local artisans. OH Studio has carefully curated this eclectic collection of creatives:

In addition to this abundance of beautifully made things, we’ll be offering tastings of a few vintage barrel-aged FELLOWSHIP beers, as well as hosting a few seasonally-appropriate artists-led workshops on the Saturday afternoon. If you miss a photo sitting with Krampus on Thursday evening, fear not – he’ll be lurking around throughout the weekend for photo ops, and a prize will be given for the best Krampus selfie. Workshops on offer: Hand-tied Seasonal Green Sprigs, Hand-lettered Gift Tags, Block Printmaking Cards, Ceramic Ornaments.

Finally, in the spirit of giving, Grace Lee of Eikcam Ceramics is making some beautiful porcelain Krampus Kups that will be available by donation* and include a sample of Strange Fellows’ Krampus Abbey Double. All proceeds from Krampus Kup will be donated to the YWCA’s PEACE Program that provides individual and peer support to children and youth who have witnessed abuse, as well as community advocacy on the effects of abuse. *a minimum donation of $20 to the YWCA’s PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counseling & Empowerment) program.
