B.C.-based company wins in fall packaging competition for corrugated and labels.

VANCOUVER, B.C., September, 2020 — Great Little Box Company Ltd./Ideon Packaging (GLBC) announced today that it has received two awards at the 34th Annual Packaging Impressions Excellence Awards, the industry’s only competition recognizing the highest level of printing quality and technical achievement across the full range of packaging segments; labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons, corrugated packaging, and displays. Industry experts in the package-printing field judge entries on functionality, print quality, and finishing attributes as well as the consumer’s usage experience from both an aesthetic and functionality perspective.

In first place in the Corrugated (Post/Direct Print): Offset Category, GLBC won for the Victoria Distillery – Empress 1908 Gin and Fever – Tree Indian Tonic Water 2 pack kit. In the Wine, Beer, and Spirits Labels: Flexo (Process) category, GLBC took second place with Strathcona Big Sexy Funk India Pale Ale.
