FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WHISTLER, B.C. – Limited quantities of early bird tickets are now available for all three beer festivals: Great Okanagan Beer Festival, Clover Valley Beer Festival presented by The Property Twins, and Whistler Village Beer Festival. Two ticket options are available for each festival, a General Admission ticket or an All Access pass. New for 2019 all General Admission tickets include five beer tokens instead of three. All Access passes include 10 beer tokens, express entry to the site, an official beer festival hat, voucher for lunch onsite, vouchers for savings around town, and more.
“We have really felt the love from the communities for our festivals and attendees are eager to have dates and tickets locked in for 2019, which is amazing. We truly feel as though we have been embraced by Kelowna, Whistler, and Cloverdale, as well as the craft beer industry” says Katrina Frew, Director of Festivals and Events. “Planning has started and our team is very excited. We can’t wait to start bringing all our new ideas to life and see all of our fellow craft beer lovers and fans next year.”
Great Okanagan Beer Festival will be returning the shores of Okanagan Lake for its fifth year May 9 – 11, 2019, with the Main Event happening on Saturday, May 11th . The Main Event at Waterfront Park will feature 70 breweries pouring over 140 beers and ciders for 4,000+ festival-goers. Breweries, food trucks, bands, and festival-goers will come together to cheers to the best craft beers and ciders that BC has to offer, as well as a few of our favourite out of province brews.
Clover Valley Beer Festival presented by The Property Twins was so well received and such a huge success in its first year that it is returning August 10, 2019 to the Bill Reid Ampitheatre at Cloverdale rodeo grounds. “We couldn’t have asked for a better turn out for the first annual CVBF!” says Chris and Jaime Ruscheinski, The Property Twins. “We knew immediately that this would be an event we would sponsor year after year. It’s a great excuse for us to sample beers with our past clients, and have some fun with the community we grew up in!” The Gibbons Team has plans for expansion for #CVBF2019, with more breweries and brews to sample.
The festival that started it all, Whistler Village Beer Festival, will be returning with six-days of beer-fuelled fun September 10 – 15, 2019. Signature events such as Craft Cultures and Master Crafters will be returning with new fun themes and other events such as Tap Takeovers, food and beer pairings, and more will be announced in the coming months. The Main Event will be on September 14th and 15th at Whistler Olympic Plaza and feature 70 breweries with over 140 beers and ciders. General Admission and All Access passes give you entry for both Saturday and Sunday so you can truly sample all the tasty brews that the breweries have created.
Each festival has opportunities for breweries, bands, food vendors, community partners, community vendors, and sponsors.
