Business of Craft Beer 2016: a panel-packed day

For the third year running, BC Business magazine presents The Business of Craft Beer, a special one-day conference with a focus on topics of interest to those in and around (or getting into) the brewing business in BC.

The conference debuted in 2014 as an ancillary event around Vancouver Craft Beer Week, and was held during that same time in 2015. For 2016, the event has moved to BC Craft Beer Month, falling on October 14th, the day before the BC Beer Awards, and the BC Craft Brewers Guild has come on as a collaborator.

Although this is an industry event, other interested parties are also welcome, as tickets are open to the general public. Pricing reflects the fact that it’s a formal industry conference, not a beer fest. $109 plus fees includes 6 panel-format presentations, a networking reception, a trade show and lunch. The seminars are timed at under 45 minutes each, allowing attendees to sit in on all six of them, making for a day packed with presentations and networking (and, no doubt, the odd beer here or there).

Here’s the official 2016 news release with all the details.
