For the month of November, in conjunction with two new weekly events:
– Boy’s Night Out at the Beer Shop & Social
– Winter Sports Social (after Curling and Hockey)
To add to the Movember effort, the Firehall Brewery will be launching a fundraising campaign through the Movember Foundation Canada. The campaign kicks-off (or rather, shaves-off) after our Halloween “Family WarmUp” TrickorTreat After Party, with the removal of all facial hair by participating Firehall Brewery men (and any other participating men), and the campaign will wrap up (or, perhaps, “twirl-up”) with a Moustache Competition during our Movember Awareness-And-Fund-Raising Party at the Beer Shop & Social on Wednesday, November 29th. Join our campaign by shaving for Halloween or on November 1st, and signing up by sending an email to moc.yrewerbllaherif@ofni or Facebooking the Firehall Brewery Page.
And if your face doesn’t grow mo’s, consider volunteering as a Judge for the Party’s Stache Comp (sign up the same way, by email or Facebook). At the party we’ll also have live music, a Virtual Reality booth, and moustache rides on special. Before you Google search for images of “moustache ride,” I should make it clear that I’m referring to a cocktail that Stevely from Dubh Glas Distillery will be developing by this name. And the Virtual Reality (VR) booth will be hosted by Carl and Oscar of ViewIT-3D, who will be donating a portion of the VR Experience fee to the Movember cause, along with the rest of the funds which will be submitted and publicly reported on our Movember Canada website profile (https://mobro.co/firehallbrewery).
