No surprise, it’s another busy weekend of events across the province. I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty upset I can’t make it over to Vancouver for Zwanze Day, oh well!

Tonight, BierCraft Bistro in Vancouver is hosting a “Best of Québec” tap takeover, where they will be showcasing beers from Dieu Du Ciel, Les Trois Mousquetaires, and Brasserie Dunham.

At the same time, Red Beard Cafe in Kamloops is holding a Penticton Ale Trail tap takeover, where they will have 2 taps each dedicated to 7 local breweries.

Friday brings the annual Brewloops festival to Kamloops. This two-day event is held at McArthur Island Park and features 30 BC breweries, live music, and amusement rides.

Sticking in the Okanagan, Kelowna gets Hopscotch Festival on Friday and Saturday, featuring craft beer, cider, whiskey, spirits, and food.

On Saturday, Bells & Whistles in Vancouver is hosting Brasserie Cantillon’s annual Zwanze Day celebration, where they will be tapping the only keg of this year’s Zwanze beer in Western Canada, along with an array of other lambics from Cantillon.

In Victoria on Saturday, The Drake will be holding their fall Wild & Sour event, where they will be pouring a curated selection of lambics, wild ales, and sour beers.

Also on Saturday, Coquitlam Craft Beer Festival will showcase 50+ local craft breweries, cider houses, and distilleries including a “quirky brews” cask corner.

Don’t forget that next weekend brings North Shore Craft Beer Week. Check back next week for more details.
