This afternoon, Cascadia Liquor store in Victoria’s Quadra Village is holding a wild beer masterclass, presented by Stephane Turcotte—Advanced Cicerone and head brewe at Île Sauvage Brewing.
This evening, Joe Wiebe is holding a fall beer seminar and tasting at Victoria’s Vessel Liquor, featuring 8 beers and some highlights from Great Canadian Beer Festival.
On Friday night, Portland Craft in Vancouver is holding An Evening of Rare Beer, where they will dedicate their taps to special beers from Beer Thirst’s portfolio, including AleSmith, Firestone Walker, and Bruery Terreux.
Up Island, Longwoodstock kicks off on Friday night, with an event called Brew & Chew, featuring craft beer from 10+ central Island breweries, along with Island-made cider, wine, and spirits, food from Coco Café, and live music. The festivities continue on Saturday, with a sold-out music festival in the brewery back yard.
On Saturday, Silver Valley Brewing in Maple Ridge is celebrating its 2nd anniversary. They will be throwing a bit of a party, and releasing a super special anniversary beer, as well as other special beers.
That same day, Dead Frog Brewing in Langley is celebrating 1 year in their new location with a big party. They will have music, fresh eats, and five new beer releases.
On Sunday, Storm Brewing in East Vancouver is celebrating their 25th anniversary with a party at the 15 Field Artillery Regiment. This ticketed event features special Brainstorm beers, a DJ, party games, and a food truck.
Next Wednesday evening, Smiths pub in Victoria is hosting a Luppolo Brewing tap takeover, with all of their taps dedicated to beers from one of Vancouver’s finest breweries.
