This week sees the conclusion of Penticton Beer Week and a couple of fun tap takeovers in Victoria. If you are elsewhere in the province, check our our calendar, as there’s still plenty going on!

Penticton Beer Week continues tonight with a Neighbourhood Brewing pairing dinner at Brodo Kitchen, as well a beer & bacon night at Barley Mill pub.

Then on Friday, there’s a triple barrel-aged beer release at Slackwater Brewing. Events conclude on Saturday with Laughs and Draughs at Craft Kitchen, featuring a Tin Whistle tap takeover.

On Saturday, The Drake in Victoria is holding a special launch event for the Dageraad & Strange Fellows Bird of a Feather collab. This ticketed event features a three-course meal, seven 4 oz tasters, and a Q&A with head brewers Ben Coli and Iain Hill.

Next Wednesday, Smiths Pub in Victoria is hosting a Lightheart Brewing tap takeover. This former Callister brewery now makes their home at Moody Ales and will be bringing serval new beers over for Island residents to try.

Next weekend brings a number of brewery “birthdays,” with île Sauvage Brewing in Victoria celebrating their 1st anniversary on Friday, with a ticketed event featuring 19 beers, food, and a live music.

That same night, Red Collar Brewing in Kamloops is kicking off their 5th anniversary weekend, with a 5 year Black Dog quad vertical tasting and tours of the brewery. On Saturday they will have a carnival-themed party, then on Sunday they will have a beer-paired brunch.

Last but not least, on Saturday, Luppolo Brewing in East Vancouver is celebrating their 3rd anniversary, with special birthday beers, live music, free Italian aperitivo snacks, and access to their production space.
