Oh wow! Things are really heating up this week! You can expect to see me in Vancouver for Weathered this weekend. Be sure to say hi if you bump into me, unless my glass is empty, then don’t go getting in my way!

Tonight, The Red Accordion in Vancouver is hosting a Collective Arts Origin of Darkness beer dinner takeover, where they will be pairing four courses with the four unique collaboration imperial stouts from this year’s series.

On Friday & Saturday, Kiwanis AleFest will be held at Two Rivers Gallery in Prince George. The festival features two Brewmaster’s Dinners, three tasting sessions and an all weekend Cask Beer Experience.

This weekend, Weathered Beer Celebration returns to Vancouver’s Heritage Hall. Tickets both Saturday sessions are now sold out, but there’s still tickets left for the Sunday afternoon session; however, they are moving quickly, so don’t sleep on it!

On Sunday, Victoria Beer Society is holding a members-only event at Île Sauvage Brewing in Victoria, where head brewer and Advanced Cicerone Stephane Turcotte will lead a tasting seminar on five different beers brewed with kviek, while educating attendees on the origins and applications of the yeast strain.

West Craft’s fourth Sunday Service pop-up takes place at Prototype Coffee in Vancouver on Sunday. Along with the aforementioned Hill Farmstead and Wildflower beers, they will also be pouring beers from Garden Path, Dwinell Country, Nickel Brook, and Three Magnets.
