By now the New Year’s hangover should be starting to fade and the holiday disorientation should have you wondering what day it even is. If you still have the energy, there’s a few great events coming up over the next couple of weeks to help you settle back into the swing of things.
On Saturday, The Drake is celebrating their 6th annual Wild & Sour day This special day sees them dedicate all of their taps to some of the worlds best lambics, wild ales, and sours. There is a special ticketed lunch that comes with a curated flight at midday, then they open to the public at 14:30.
Starting this Sunday, and continuing every Sunday through January, Prototype Coffee in Vancouver will be hosting West Craft’s Sunday Service pop-up event, where they will be pouring a selection of beers from Garden Path Fermentation, Dwinell Country Ales, Chuckanut Brewery, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Three Magnets Brewing, Nickel Brook Brewing, and Australia’s Wildflower Brewing and Blending. Beer sale proceeds go to support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
Next Thursday, The Train Station in Kelowna is hosting a Kootenay breweries tap takeover, where they will be poring beers from Nelson, Fernie, Mt Begbie, and White Tooth, alongside their limited edition collab beer, Powder Highway.
