If you are willing to get out there and brave the elements, there’s a ton of great stuff coming up this week, especially in Vancouver.

Tonight, The Red Accordion in Vancouver is hosting a Jester King tap takeover, where they will be pouring 6 sought after beers from this acclaimed Austin, Texas brewery, and will be giving away some swag.

In Victoria tonight, Joe Wiebe is hosting a seminar at Vessel Liquor, where he will be guiding people through eight of his favourite beers 2019, while sharing his insights on them, and talking about what to expect in 2020 for BC craft beer.

This Saturday, Moody Ales is hosting their Heart of Darkness stout festival. During this event, they will be filling their taps with nothing but stouts, including some very special small batches of experimental stouts they’ve been working on.

On Sunday, West Craft will be holding their third Sunday Service pop-up event at Prototype Coffee in Vancouver, where they will be pouring a selection of beers from Garden Path Fermentation, Dwinell Country Ales, Chuckanut Brewery, Nicklebrook, and Three Magnets Brewing. Beer sale proceeds go to support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

Next Thursday, The Red Accordion in Vancouver is hosting a Collective Arts Origin of Darkness beer dinner takeover, where they will be pairing four courses with the four unique collaboration imperial stouts from this year’s series.

Next weekend, Weathered Beer Celebration returns to Vancouver’s Heritage Hall for its sophomore year on the 25th and 26th. Weathered is a curated beer and art event, celebrating imperial stouts, barley wines, extreme hops, wild ales, and lambic. Tickets for session 1 on Saturday are now sold out, but there’s still tickets left for session 2 on Saturday and the Sunday session; however, they are moving quickly, so don’t sleep on it!
