Wow! This is looking like a pretty big week for craft beer fans on the Lower Mainland and The Island.
Coming up tonight, Persephone brewing is hosting a Long Table Dinner at their gorgeous beer farm in Gibsons. While you are there make sure to grab a bottle of their recently released 5th anniversary beer, or even stick around for the Tough Kegger fundraising event on Saturday.
Also tonight, Lighthouse Brewing is holding the first of three special events to mark their 20th anniversary. They are kicking things off with a Brewmaster’s Dinner catered by Jones BBQ in Victoria’s Market Square. Then on Friday they are holding a block party around their brewery in Esquimalt, when they will be opening their new tasting room for the first time ever. Events come to a close on Saturday with a private boat cruise out of Victoria harbour, also catered by Jones BBQ.
On Saturday, Fuggles & Warlock is hosting The Hop Strikes Back in the lot behind their brewery in Richmond. This beer festival featuring 13 of their favourite breweries pouring sample of nothing but IPAs. Better get your palates prepared!
Also on Saturday,The Drake in Victoria is hosting a grand cellar clear out, featuring 12 rare beers from Cascade, Boneyard, Brasserie Dunham, Almanac, and more!
