Beer Festivals, cask fests, tap takeovers, beer release parties, brewmaster’s dinners—we’ve got a bit of everything this week. It’s either going to be super sunny and wet and rainy, so chose wisely!

On Friday night, Finfolk is East Vancouver is holding a release party for Coal Harbour Brewing’s new Party On mixed pack. They’ll be pouring both Wayne and Garth and will be showing movies up on their projector screen.

On Saturday, Clover Valley Beer Fest comes to Cloverdale. They will have 40+ breweries pouring 80+ brews, food, and live music. Partial proceeds will go towards Twins Cancer Fundraising.

On Saturday night, Smiths pub in Victoria will be holding an East of East Van tap takeover, where they will be pouring a selection of beers from Dageraad, Steel & Oak, and Steamworks.

Also on Saturday night, Darby’s Gastown is holding a Steel & Oak tap takeover, featuring five unique seasonal beer on tap.

On Sunday, Red Racer will be holding their annual Summer Cask Fest at their Beatty St taphouse. This year, they will be showcasing fruited and sour casks from 25 local breweries.

Next Wednesday, Category 12 Brewing is holding their inaugural brewmaster’s dinner at the brewery. Their resident Red Seal chef is preparing a unique and delectable five course menu that will be paired with five Category 12 beers from their private reserve.

Looking ahead to next weekend, there will be a 5 year anniversary at Yellow Dog and a massive 21 year anniversary at Lighthouse! Check back next week for more.
