Callister Brewing kicks off their Festival of the Dark Arts on Thursday November 28th where we will soft release our Vistula Baltic Porter!
On Friday November 29th, we will have the official release party for Vistula!
Vistula is a rich, velvety smooth and clean beer that is traditionally lager fermented, but we opted for an isolated strain of Kviek. Cold conditioned for several weeks to promote clarity in what pours as a deep, ruby red to almost black coloured beer that is malt forward with notes of chocolate, slight coffee, rich caramels and a hint of smoked oak. Traditional German hops provide all the bitterness, floral notes and a hint of spice.
This night will also include our line up of “Lift Off” Kveik fermented Hazy IPA, “No Pressure” Kveik fermented English style dark mild, and finally our “Roggen Squadron” German style Dark Rye Beer (Roggenbier).
Vistula Baltic Porter will be also available in 650mL bombers for you to take home. In addition, our “PUNSCH IT” Nordic Farmhouse Ale, brewed in collaboration with Finfolk, will also be available in 650mL bombers!
