All over BC, fruit is ripening and mouths are watering. The summer is in full swing and the fresh, juicy bounty of nature is abundant. What better way to celebrate the season than by drinking it in!
Come to Spinnakers Brewpub on Thursday, September 6th for a Slice of Life. Sample some of our favourite sour and barrel aged beers from the past 6 months, and other delicious sours and fruit beers from our friends across the Island and BC. Everything will be sour, wild, juicy and delicious featuring the fresh flavours of summer.
We will be releasing our latest entry to the Brewer’s Reserve series:
Framboise
This beer has spent one year aging in oak barrels, and an a minimum of three months with fresh, local raspberries. It is delightfully sour, and bursting with fresh, ripe raspberry essence.
But wait! There’s more!
We’ve been saving kegs of our single barrel releases for the past 6 months. These are extremely rare beers that have come and gone through the ever flowing taps at Spinnakers Brewpub, so rare that many have never had the chance to try them. One off fruit sours, all made with local ingredients and soured naturally in our barrel room. More info on the selection will be released closer to the date, but trust us, you don’t want to miss these beers.

We will have bottles of our previous releases, Rubus, Prunus, and Malus available in extremely limited quantities at the provisions store. These babies have bottle conditioned since their release and are tasting great.
