Ever wondered about a career in the craft beer industry?
Interested in becoming a brewer?
If you have a passion for craft beer and are thinking of becoming a brewer, then be sure to join us for the KPU Brewing Open House on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 to learn about KPU’s Brewing and Brewery Operations Diploma — the only program of its kind in BC and the only institute in Canada recognized by the Master Brewers Association for a standard of excellence in brewing education.

The explosive growth of craft breweries in BC and around the world is creating a huge demand for educated, trained brewers. At KPU, Brewing students get practical, hands-on experience in our on-site brewery and also learn the science, art and business of brewing in this comprehensive, two-year program.

At the KPU Brewing Open House, you’ll meet some of our Brewing instructors and students, as well as our admissions coordinator, to learn more about the Brewing Diploma curriculum, admission requirements, portfolio submissions, tips on how to be successful in the program, and the variety of careers available in the industry. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions, tour KPU’s state-of-the-art teaching brewery and taste some student-brewed beer*!
