Once again, we’ll be bringing the crisp mountain air and fresh water of the Kootenays to Smiths on Saturday March 10, in the form of quality brews from Fernie Brewing Company (Fernie), Torchlight Brewing Co. (Nelson) & Whitetooth (Golden) for our second Kootenays Tap Takeover.
Following the success of last years Tap Takeover with Fernie and Torchlight, we’ve managed to convince Whitetooth to finally make their way outside of Golden and pour their small batch, Belgian-inspired and West Coast influenced beers, for the first time ever. Are we excited? Oh yes we are.
Fernie Brewing Company has been making quality brews since 2003. We’ll be featuring some of their award-winning core line-up, a couple seasonal brews, plus some barrel aged stand outs night of.
Knocking out more than 40 types of beers since their 2014 inception in Nelson, nano-brewery Torchlight has been quenching some serious beer thirst and we’re sure they’ll have something unique for us YYJ beer drinkers.
