Originally from Quebec, Laurie moved out west to enjoy the mountains (real ones). Having never pursued her dream of being the lead keyboard player in an indie-electro band, she ended up working in Marketing and playing iPod DJ at parties and on road trips instead. After a while, she started picking up legit DJ gigs which is how she transitioned into an official song selector. Her musical taste is pretty varied from surf rock to indie all the way to funk, soul, and nu-disco. Anything that has a ¨feel good¨ vibe.
