An Evening of Bondage and Brewing with Art x Craft: “Shibari”

“Shibari” at Beaumont Studio’s on November 8th, explores brewing and bondage with guests Coal Harbour Brewing Company and Barkas Kinbaku.

Coal Harbour Brewing Company, Head Brewer Thomas Batty will brew live inside the gallery throughout the evening, sharing tradecraft tips and leading guided beer tastings. He has driven the young brewery forward with his ability to harness big flavours and tap into our sense of nostalgia. You can be sure he’ll be charming you with his wit and vast beer IQ.

With the warmth of the kettle and aroma of malt and hops in the air, George Barkas from Barkas Kinbaku will simultaneously immerse you in the world of Shibari. He is an internationally respected bondage educator, performance artist, and writer who is providing the world with a deeper understanding of rope bondage. Barkas and partner Addie will share their story and perform, creating living art that opens your mind and elevates your heartbeat.

Tickets are limited to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get up close and personal with both the brewers and Barkas.
