7:30PM DJ Pistolas

Straight out of Mexico City, born out of old salsa hits with city noise, alternative rock bands, and a funky electronic music scene, DJ Pistolas spins the wheels laying the bridge between Latin classics and the sound of synths and beat machines. Having played small gigs in Mexico, Europe, and North America, his project aims to revive the classic cumbia sounds and refurbish them with modern sonic tools with global bass influences, enhancing the rhythms and making your hips stick to the shaker and bassline. When it comes to selecting tracks, Pistolas fusions tunes from many different parts of the world creating an atmosphere where everyone feels free to let loose through sound and rhythm. You’ll get a smile if you ask him to play “Despacito”, but nothing more.

9:30PM DJ PRAiZ

With roots stretching back to the dawn of hip hop, master turntablist and producer, DJ Praiz has continued to bring rarely matched skill and style to the west coast scene for nearly a decade. Praiz has rewritten the books when it comes to versatility by transcending eras and genres, creating his own unforgettable, feel-good signature sound.

Learning the ropes in Montreal, Praiz developed his own unique and sought-after style. His inspiration stems from record digging, as he regularly takes ques from jazz and various world sounds.

Well established in Montreal, Praiz made a successful move westward to British Columbia. His style has since evolved as he shares the stage with many other well-known artists. As a high-demand dj for resort towns, cities, and festivals alike, Praiz creates a sound experience that can keep any crowd moving.

5:00PM SOUL CLUB Whistler

SOUL CLUB is Whistler’s premier super soul shakedown.
Playing 45’s galore and all the hottest Soul/Funk/Northern in town!

7:30PM GOODVIBEZ

Having just returned from his Grandma’s 90th birthday in Brazil, GOODVIBEZ would have liked to say that he got booked for that event, but unfortunately he lost the opportunity to his cousin’s Spotify account. While his confidence took a hit, the trip was not in vain as he got to drink a lot of free beer at the party and managed to shazam a few bangers from his cousins playlist. GOODVIBEZ would like to define his style as “Brazilian BBQ” but he’s waiting to get his first BBQ gig to make that official, so for now it’s just “anything with bongos in it”.

9:30PM Mark Woodyard

Mark Woodyard is a multi-talented musician who uses looping machines, his voice and his guitar to create a truly unique and dance-inspiring sound. He’s best known for his wide array of genre-bending covers that showcase his vocal range and eclectic style. Often referred to as a “Human Jukebox”, his knowledge of music spans effortlessly across eras and genres. Born and raised in North Vancouver, he has been playing shows for 16 years at events, weddings and bars in the Vancouver area, getting booked by clients such as Lululemon, Cactus Club and The Donnelly Group. He released his debut original EP Pull Out The Knife in 2013 and has since joined hip hop group The X Presidents who have performed with artists such as Warren G, Slum Village and toured across Canada and Europe with members of The Pharcyde. Right now he is residing in Vancouver with a residency gig at the Keefer Bar on Wednesday nights.
