The Penticton Art Gallery and Cannery Brewing Partner on SQUARE Mural Project

The Penticton Art Gallery and Cannery Brewing are pleased to partner in a new public art project called SQUARE. In January, a call went out to artists interested in participating and nearly 80 applications were received. A jury reviewed the applications and have now completed the artist selection. Eight local artists have been selected to create 4’ x 4’ mini murals.

Craft Beer Marketing Awards Competition Goes Global for 2021

The Craft Beer Marketing Awards (CBMAs) announced that its 2021 Awards Program is expanding and accepting entries from around the world in beer, hard seltzer, and cider. Entries will be accepted through January 29, 2021. Several Canada based judges have joined the over 350 judge panel to review entries from around the globe.
Brewing legend Nancy More KPU Brewing award presented for first time

Backcountry Brewing’s “Suck It Cancer” Fundraiser 2020

Building off the success of last year’s “Suck It Cancer” fundraising campaign, Backcountry Brewing is proud to release the 2020 “Suck It Cancer” Pale Ale on November 10, 2020. Collaborating once again on the can design with the estate of Chili Thom, a local artist who succumbed to cancer in 2016, Backcountry hopes to raise $15,000 this year to donate to the BC Cancer Foundation.
